About VisibleGalaxies

Why this English space site exists and how it is designed.

Space should be understandable

VisibleGalaxies.org is an English-language astronomy site built from a much larger Dutch archive. The goal is simple: show the object first, explain the main idea in plain language, and always give the reader a clear next step.

What makes this edition different?

The English version is not a line-for-line copy. It reorganises the archive into clear themes, keeps one read-aloud control, introduces a searchable library and makes the interactive Live Space Explorer a central feature.
